Located on the port of Canet-en-Roussillon, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, ONIRIA is an innovative aquarium offering an immersive journey into the heart of aquatic biodiversity, while also surprising visitors of all ages with a host of sensations and special effects. Following a sensory and interactive path, visitors experience life as a drop of water that will take 1,000 years to travel around the world. By observing the journey of this molecule in all its states (water, ice, vapor…), the Oniria Aquarium in Canet allows visitors to explore numerous planetary ecosystems. Corals, invertebrates, tropical fish, reptiles… the facility is designed around 83 tanks of all sizes to showcase more than 3,500 individuals from 600 different species, including a huge aquarium featuring our majestic bull, grey, and blacktip reef sharks.
