July/August: 9:30 am - 6:30 pm (7 days a week) June and September: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, except Tuesdays. October to May: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm, except Tuesdays. Closed December 25th and January 1st. Tickets are valid for two years from the date of purchase. Free for those under 26, the unemployed, those receiving social welfare benefits (RSA, ASS, minimum old-age pension), art history students, people with disabilities, and war veterans. Free for everyone on the first Sunday of each month. Group rates for 20 to 100 people: for larger groups, please contact us. The museum traces the last 400,000 years of human history in a completely renovated setting. Stone tools, bone or ivory art objects, sculptures, life-size reconstructions, allow us to better understand the evolution of prehistoric societies up to the end of the ice age.
