The zoo is located in Ciutadella Park, in the heart of the city's historic center, and its main objective is the conservation of biodiversity and natural habitats. It houses native and exotic species, such as the otter and the Dorcas gazelle, many of which are endangered, and offers visitors the opportunity to observe animals from all zoological groups. A walk through Barcelona Zoo also includes glimpses of Barcelona's Modernist treasures. The Zoo's facilities are ideal for enjoying an unforgettable family day out. OPENING HOURS • From May 16 to September 13, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. • From September 14 to October 24, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. • From October 25 to December 31, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. • On December 25, open only until 2:00 pm.
