Work and reflection that began some time ago, when the musicians were crisscrossing European roads and honing their stage experience after passing through Australia and accompanying bands like Leprous or Devin Townsend Project on stage. A "great journey" that would eventually lead to a stop in the United States (a few weeks after the recording of Meanwhile) and during which Klone would open for Pain of Salvation on numerous occasions when they were not a prominent participant in the famous progressive cruise Cruise To The Edge, a festival taking place on a huge ocean liner.
