When a passion for Brel and Barbara sparks a lively debate between two artists, the burning question is: should we imitate or create?
Mario and Laurent are preparing a tribute show to Brel and Barbara, but very quickly their visions clash: one feels inhabited by Barbara, the other refuses to imitate Brel.
Inspired by the songs of these two legends, the two friends seek to assert their identities but find themselves in total confusion. Eras and roles become intertwined. From the Olympia to Bobino, from the Théâtre du Châtelet to the Théâtre des Gémeaux, "Neither Brel nor Barbara" transports the audience from one world to another, between laughter and emotion, between memories and reality.
Far from a traditional tribute show, this playful creation – blending theatre and songs – questions the boundary between imitation and creation. A unique homage to the little-known friendship between Brel and Barbara.

Ni Brel Ni Barbara has won over thousands of spectators, notably during two editions of the Avignon Off Festival as well as during numerous tour dates in France and abroad.
