Love stories often end badly. But some change the course of history.
1933. Germaine Sablon, one of the capital's most popular singers, is performing in a cabaret. In the audience is Joseph Kessel, journalist, author, aviator, and adventurer. They fall instantly in love, but the war arrives and transforms the lives of these two lovers.
Today, all of Germaine Sablon's songs have fallen into oblivion… All except one, the one they created together: The Song of the Partisans.
