Faire corps depicts the experience of a long solo walk across France.<div> Faire corps depicts the experience of a long solo walk across France.</div><div> "Faire corps" is an interweaving of landscapes traversed, sensations experienced, and interviews conducted with women who work the land.</div><div> "Faire corps" is a choreographic, performative and cinematic form.</div><div><br></div><div> The stage performance offers an immersive experience of perception and sensation, which infuses a vibrant energy of poetry and resistance.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div> The heart of the project lies in the connections between the stories, sensations, and emotions of women and men who work the land and my experience of a long, solitary walk across western France. I conducted approximately 20 interviews along the way, and their content, along with images captured with my phone, formed the raw material for the creation. From these collected accounts, I activated embodied memories on stage—memories deposited and anchored in the bodies that move through a given territory, as well as the multiple memories sedimented in the earth, the lands. I attempt to recreate these memories through my own experience of the journey, having lived through it and received the stories of the people I met, but also having felt the stories of all forms of life.</div><div> My body in play becomes one with all the materials and mediums offered.</div>
