Here, there are no puppets, but humans transformed into avatars and thrown into a ring to fight each other. At the heart of a stunning set design entirely in monochrome gray, two players challenge each other, under the watchful eye of the mistress of ceremonies who keeps score. Bringing together several art forms on stage, where dance, music, opera, and circus intertwine, Alice Laloy conceives an incredible mise en abyme which, somewhere between wrestling and video games, invites us to question contemporary society.
