Her repertoire draws inspiration from artists such as Enrico Pieranunzi and Fred Hersch for contemporary jazz, as well as Milton Nascimento, José Miguel Wisnik, and Guinga for their Brazilian influences.</div><div><br></div><div> Serving the captivating melodies and countermelodies of Lisa Robert's various compositions are four talented musicians from the Parisian scene, all graduates of the Didier Lockwood Music Center where they met. The Quartet creates a space for dialogue where instrumental roles are constantly being redefined.</div><div> The trombone occupies a unique place, oscillating between melodic and textural functions, while the piano develops an approach that is simultaneously lyrical, orchestral, and rhythmic, with the bass and drums duo blending solidity and delicacy. The voice is integrated sporadically, as an extension of the instrumental material, sometimes in Portuguese, reflecting a Franco-Brazilian cultural heritage stemming from its origins.</div><div><br></div>
